My Story

Good morning, this is Casimira Ruiz Garcia, and first of all, I want to tell you that my mother also was a registered child in the Feeding Program. She has good memories about the Christmas gifts she received and she registered me one year ago due to her own experience. I am 4 years old and I like to sing and pray in the Bible classes. I stay at home and I enjoy playing with my uncles because I am not studying due to my young age. My favorite weather is hot because for me it is so comfortable. 

I live with my parents at home, but my paternal grandparents, uncles and cousins also live with us, and they share their expenses with my parents. My mother is a housewife and she continues raising and selling hens. She also is a weaver to get some extra income to support my father with the home expenses. He earns a living as a farmer and typical day laborer. Occasionally, he works as a mason`s helper. Moreover, he travels to the coast to pick coffee beans from November to February.

By the grace of God, my parents and I are in good health. We congregate in the Church of Christ. We like the visit from our leaders because they encourage us to continue following God. We trust in God and we are secure in our salvation because we have already received him in our hearts. The LW teacher visited us and encouraged my mother to continue trusting God. She would like to ask for your prayers for health and provision for our family. I am grateful for the opportunity to send you my little story, I hope you find it interesting to read.
