My Story

Good morning! My name is Alexander Benito Calachij, and it is my pleasure to send you my updated information. First of all, I want you to know that my mother also was registered in the Feeding Program when she was younger. She loved to eat the delicious meals with many children. She enrolled me due to her own experience four years ago. I like to attend the Bible classes after lunch time because I learn verses from the Bible.

As a family, we believe in God and we are persevering in the Church of Christ. We like to attend because we learn more about God and we encourage each other. We have received Jesus Christ in our hearts, so we will be in heaven someday. The LW teacher encouraged my mother to continue trusting in God and prayed for my mother`s job because she is the only one that supports me financially. She continues selling vegetables in the market from Zacualpa town on Sundays. I accompany my mother in the Market. In addition, she is a municipal street sweeper from Monday to Friday to earn extra money to cover our needs. My uncles live near our house and they take care of me while my mother is working.

By the grace of God, my mother is doing well. I am thankful because when I have been sick, my mother takes me to the LW doctor. I am in 1^st grade and I am eight years old. I like to play with toy cars and I do my homework from classes. My favorite weather is cold. This was my updated information and thank you for your attention.  May God bless you greatly!
