My Story

Special regards from the beautiful Chixocol village! I am so happy to tell you that attending the feeding program has been a great blessing for me. This is Brayden Cirilo Tzoy Toj and I want you to know that my mother enrolled me there about one year ago because she wanted me to enjoy the nice experience she had when she was a child. What she liked the most was participating in the youth groups because they shared the gospel with her. Nowadays, she keeps busy weaving typical blouses and belts to contribute to the expenses. My father is the main supporter of our family. He is a farmer and day laborer. In order to earn an extra income, he carries heavy packages or people from one place to another in his own car.

Thanks to the loving care of the Lord, my parents and I are keeping well. I am 10 years old and I am in fourth grade. When I stay home, I usually help to sweep. I prefer hot weather because I like going to the river. We are a Catholic family and I like attending my church because of the solemn songs and holy Mass. I am pleased to tell you that my mother does not have any doubt about going to Heaven because she accepted Jesus in her heart a while ago. She knows that only by His grace, we are forgiven. Therefore, she strives to take care of her salvation. This is all for now, but I kindly ask you to pray for my whole family and me so that God keeps us healthy as He has so far. Until next time!
