My Story

I am writing to thank you for always being so kind to me. I hope you are having an amazing week! This is Geovani Tomas Garcia Gonzalez. I turned 11 years old in April. I spend time helping my father farming the land. I have attended the feeding program for six years. What I like best is praying for our meal. I am a healthy boy. In Guatemala, we just have two seasons summer and winter, and I enjoy both of them.

We are a family of six: my parents, my brothers, and me. I would like to tell you that recently my mother gave birth to my little brother.  We are so happy for him. My father is a hard worker. He works both as a farmer and as a day laborer. My mother stays at home and she is a housewife. Currently, she is recovering from childbirth. My father tells us that he was part of the feeding program when he was young and he enjoyed when missionaries visited the program. He liked to spend time with them. Therefore, he wanted us to have these beautiful experiences too. My family does not attend any church. Evangelism teachers shared the gospel and encouraged us to attend a church. I say goodbye for now. I hope you like my letter.
