My Story

Hello, everybody! It is such a joy to share my latest news with you. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this letter! I am Cristina Chingo Chingo and I am 10 years old. I am in second grade and I usually help my mother to make tortillas and clean our house. I prefer cold weather rather than hot. By the grace of the Lord, I am in good health, and it has been a big blessing to attend the feeding program. My mother felt motivated to take me there because of the food and medicine for free that children of our village receive. She used to go there when she was a child and remembers that it was so nice to have her meals alongside other children. Today, my mother is a healthy woman and does her best to contribute to the expenses. She makes her own income by weaving typical clothes and working as a domestic employee.

My father is also healthy and makes a living by working in a plant nursery to support our family. We still do not attend any church, but I hope we can do it soon. I want to use this opportunity to express how grateful my mother was for the spiritual assistance that she received from sister Lizeth (a member of the LW staff). She also could listen to the gospel and asked for prayers so that God keeps my whole family and me healthy and gives my parents strength to continue moving forward. Could you please add these requests to your prayers? It is time to say goodbye, but I hope you liked my information. Have a wonderful day!

With much love,

Cristina Chingo Chingo
