My Story

Good morning! This is Joan David Jadedias Benavente Vallejo and this is a privilege for me to tell you that my parents are thankful for the support LW Adopt-A-Child gives me. They pray for the Project and my mother registered me one year ago when she heard about the benefits and blessings for free for children in need like me. I like to pray in the Bible classes before lunch time.

Unfortunately, we are not attending any church, but my mother is thinking to seek one in the future. The LW teacher prayed for our health, provision and jobs for my family. My parents are doing their best for our well-being. My father continues selling home-made snacks in the afternoon and my mother works in the tobacco company during the production season. I live with them at home, but my paternal grandparents and uncles live in the same house. Thankfully, they have their own space. I help to pick up the shoes at home. I am nine years old and I am in 2^nd grade. I love hot weather. I want to tell you that I frequently suffer from colds. My tonsils have been very affected, but I am under medical treatment from the Public Hospital called “San Juan de Dios”. The doctor said that I need a surgery, but we are waiting for a date.  Currently, I have a cold, so I am not able to have the surgery yet. My father takes me to the hospital and he asks for your prayers for me. I hope you like to read my little letter. Have a nice day!
