Good morning! This is Irma Elena Ordonez Mechen and it is a blessing for me to greet you. First of all, I want to tell you that alongside my family, we continue seeking God in the Catholic Church because he has been so faithful to us. We are secure in our salvation since we accepted him in our hearts. My mother was encouraged to continue trusting God by the LW teacher and she helped to collect this information. She also would like to ask for your prayers for our well-being.
Thankfully, we are doing well. My mother struggles every day for the family. She continues weaving typical clothing and raising hens. Moreover, she does farm jobs to earn extra money because she is the only one that sustains us. I help her to sweep. I am in 1st grade and I am 7 years old. I love cold weather because I take advantage to drink hot coffee. I have attended the Feeding Program for 3 years, and I like to play in the Bible classes. My mother heard about the Project when the people from my village were talking, and she took me. I enjoy the benefits. I am grateful for everything and I hope you like to read my little story. I love you so much!
In Jesus’ love,
Irma Elena Ordonez Mechen
