My Story

Hello! By means of this letter, I want to tell you how merciful God has been with my family and me. My full name is Cesar Agusto Ruiz Garcia and I am so happy because I have attended the feeding program for one year. I am 8 years old and I am in first grade at school again. I am glad because my whole family and I are in good health. When I have days off, I usually play with my siblings. I prefer hot rather than cold weather. My mother is a hardworking woman who does her best to bring food home. She is a single parent and makes a living as a day laborer, embroiders napkins, and weaves typical belts to sell. Unfortunately, we have not heard anything about my biological father. He abandoned us many years ago. About my spiritual life, I tell you that I go with my mother to listen to the Mass at the Catholic Church.

My mother is assured about her salvation because she accepted Jesus in her heart many years ago. Therefore, a member of the LW staff encouraged her to keep going in her faith. It is time to say goodbye, but I want you to know that my family and I really appreciate all the blessings that LW-Adopt A Child provides us. May God continue using this organization to provide help to many other families!
