My Story

Hello. Thank you for reading my story which is created from the team of Adopt a Child.  I am Djamant telling this story for you. I am doing well regarding health. My birthday is in October. My favorite color is blue. I have a lot of dreams and desires for my future same as all children. I am too young to know what the future will bring in my life ahead. I like to spend quite a lot of time playing with car toys inside the house. I have lots of small car toys that my parents buy for me from time and can say that I have a collection of different types of cars. I started to frequent kindergarten this year on September and going there every morning is a difference for me. I used to stay together with my mother all day long and now, I need to be at kindergarten. I have made lots of new friends from my classmates and we enjoy playing and learning from our teachers who care for us. As soon as I return in the house, I like to continue to play with car toys, watch cartoons on television and spend time with my sisters who are older and love me so much. When my parents are free we go for walks. I enjoy going to the park to play and while we walk, I ask my parents to buy me candies or drinks to consume. I live in a village, near the town of Pogradec and my parents are renting our house. I have five members in my family who are my parents, two older sisters and I. My older sisters are at school and do lots of studying during the day. When they study, I like to deal with coloring so I try not to disturb them. My father is jobless, but he goes to work in daily bases, when people hire him to chap wood or carry those in the apartments of people, gaining just a bit of income out of which we are to live. My mother is also jobless. She is busy though, doing cleaning, cooking, carrying for us, etc. At present she has problems with her legs and needs to see the specialist doctor. We hope she will do well after the visits. We live with low income and we are happy to join the program of Adopt a Child so we can benefit help and care. My mother frequents the church in the same time that my sister and I go to the Bible classes of the program. We are happy that we receive food packages, spiritual education and special care from the church of Adopt a Child. God bless you richly!
