My Story

Hello! My name is Lian. Thank you very much for reading this information that the team of Adopt a Child is taking from me and my mother. I am 4 years old, and my birthday is in September. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is blue, and my future dream is to become a police. I frequent kindergarten where I spend the first part of my day. I enjoy learning new things from our teachers who care for us while we are there and I also like to spend time playing with my classmates. I have already made many new friends at kindergarten, while we play and share our toys together. I like to meet and play with my friends who live near my house. We play with ball, do lots of running and have a lot of fun. I have a motorbike toy and when I am inside the house, I like to play with this toy which is my favorite one. When the weather is nice, my mother takes me and my brothers out for walks, and I enjoy spending time playing at the park of our town. I have two older brothers who care for me especially when my mother gets busy doing cleaning, cooking and other things that need to be done inside the house. I live in the town of Pogradec. Our house offers good living conditions to us. The members in my family are my parents and my two older brothers. My father works in construction, when he gets hired, so he is not working full time. When he is not hired in construction, he goes to work elsewhere, helping unload trucks with materials in factories, etc. My mother is jobless as well. She is taking care of the house and she is also very busy carrying for us all. My older brothers are going to school. One of my brothers is also ill with asthma. He needs his medication every month and the type of medication he gets is with high cost. We have other family members in our family circle who help us at times so that we can buy the medication for him. My brothers are also frequenting the program of Adopt a Child. We receive food packages constantly and we go every Sunday to the Bible classes of the church. We enjoy learning about the Lord and are thankful to Adopt a Child for the physical care.
