My Story

My name is Klevi. I am 10 years old and my birthday is on March. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is red and my future dream is to become police. I frequent the fifth grade of school where I spend the first part of the day leaning and having a nice time afterwards with my classmates. After school we meet to play before we depart and walk in our houses. I like reading books and studying and my favorite subject at school is Albanian language. When I am out of school, after the lesson hours, I get together with my friends to play. We play usually near our house in the roads and our games are simple. We have lots of games played by ball and do lots of running. I enjoy staying very long outside, same as all my other friends. My parents are both unwell and for this reason, I do small things they ask of me to do for them. I bring their medicine and water close to their beds and when they ask me, I run to buy things in the shop that my mother would want to have while cooking. I have a brother who is older. When I study and get prepared for the next day of school, he usually helps me do the homework properly. My mother is also helping me. When I finish studying, I sit and watch programs for children on TV or get the mobile phone of my mother to play games. I live in a village that belongs to the community of Prrenjas. We visit the town very often, especially during the weekends, because it is not far from our village. My parents both had a car accident and after that they are both invalids. They got badly injured. They are not able to work and for this reason the local government has gives them and our family an amount which is titled as invalid pension for them both. This amount is very less to cover our expenses of living. My older brother is also registered in the program. We are thankful to the program of Adopt a Child for the food packages they deliver to my brother and me constantly. At present the food packages mean a lot to our family. God bless you richly for supporting a child with needs like mine.
