My Story

My name is Ergi. I am 14 years old and my birthday is on October. I am doing well and in good health. My favorite color is white and my future dream is to study in school and become a mechanic. We have a professional high school that teaches about mechanic that I like to follow after I get the certificate from the nine year school system. At present I am at the last year of secondary school and next year on June I will get graduated after doing several closing exams. This school year is very important for me and I need to study harder. I also like to deal with sports and play football. When I am out of school, after the lesson hours, I get together with my friends to play football at the sport field we have at school. The subject that I enjoy the best at school is Physical education, because there we are being taught about many different sports as jumping, running, football, volleyball, etc. When I return in the house, after school and playing with my friends, I start right away to do different things around my house so I can help my parents who are both unwell. I also stay close to my brother who is younger so I can care for him. I close the day with studying and preparing for the next day of school and usually relax by using the mobile phone of our family, checking on social media to chat with my friends. I live in a village that belongs to the community of Prrenjas. I visit the town very often, especially during the weekends, because it is not far from our village. I will also go there to take the high school classes. My parents both had a car accident and after that they are both invalids. They got badly injured. They are not able to work and for this reason the local government has given to them and our family an amount which is titled as invalid pension for them both. This amount is very less to cover our expenses of living. I have a brother who is younger and goes to the same school I go. He is also registered in the program. We are thankful to the program of Adopt a Child for the food packages they deliver to my brother and me constantly. At present the food packages mean a lot to our family. God bless you richly for supporting a child with needs like mine.
