My Story

Hello! My name is Noian, and I am 9 years old. My birthday is on February 25th. I am doing well and I am in good health. My favorite color is red, because it makes me feel happy and full of energy. I go to elementary school, and I enjoy going to school every day. My favorite subject is English, because I love learning new words and practicing how to speak in English during class. I feel proud when I can understand and say new things in English. When I grow up, my dream is to become a football player, because I really love playing football and being active. I enjoy running, playing with my friends, and having fun while doing sports. Football makes me feel strong and happy. In my free time, I like playing with my toys and playing different games on my phone. I also like to help my family whenever I can. Sometimes I help by going shopping for groceries, and I feel happy when I know I am being useful to my family.

I live in Tirana, on a apartment together with my parents, my two sisters, my brother, and my grandmother. We are a big family and we support each other. My father works as a driver, and my grandmother also works, but the salaries they earn are not very high. Because of this, it is sometimes difficult for our family to meet all our needs. My mother does not work, because she stays at home and takes care of all of us. I am very thankful to the Living Water Adopt a Child program for the help and support they give to my family through food assistance and spiritual care. I attend the church of the program every Thursday together with my mom, my sisters, and my brother, and I always have a very nice and peaceful time there. Thank you from my heart, and may God bless you all!
