Widow/Widower
Hello! My name is Blerina Pecaku. I am 39 years old. My health condition is unwell at present and this is caused because of the last happenings and challenges we have had to face in our lives. I was born in Rrajca and got married in a village that is far and too remote. My husband thought it was best for our family to move in another village, where we are now, in Kotodesh, so that we can be close to the town and for our children to have a better schooling and future. My husband and I have three daughters who are 16, 7 and 5 years old. My oldest daughter goes to high school. My other daughter goes to primary school and the youngest one is at preschool kindergarten. Sadly, my husband has chosen to commit suicide and this happened a few months before. It was a shock for me and for my three daughters. I am thankful to my brother who has cared for me and my daughters, since after that time. Without him, we would not have had any support at all. I have always been in the house and have not had a job. My husband was the only one working to provide for us. Because it is soon, I have not yet done the paperwork that is needed to be completed so that I can get from the government a pension for my children who are partly orphans. We contacted the Adopt a Child team and the church of Living Water to receive help and we are happy to have the opportunity of being registered in the sponsorship program. The church and program is helping us with all that they have, food, clothes, etc. My daughters are also registered in the program and they go to the Bible classes after school. I also started to frequent the church. I am thankful for the spiritual care that I am receiving, especially in this time of sadness Thank you for reading about me and my situation. Thank you for your support to us.
