My Story

Hello! My name is Bjorki. I am 5 years old, and my birthday is in July. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is red, and my future dream is become pilot. I also like driving cars and now I am playing with lots of car toys while I am inside the house. I enjoy watching cartoons on television. In the cartoons I enjoy seeing the car toys that speak and communicate between them. I go to preschool kindergarten where I spend the first part of the day. The teachers care for us and they teach us to read, write, count and a lot of songs and poems by heart. I enjoy the time I spend there with my classmates and friends. We play lots of games and there we have a lot of toys to play with. My mother takes me from kindergarten at midday, and I spend many hours inside playing. During this time, my older sister cares for me. She is at school and when she studies, I like to play with my car toys so I can be quiet and not disturb her. My mother takes my sister and me out for walks during the evenings, and we enjoy playing in the parks of our town. I live in a beautiful town, and we take walks by the lake. Walks during the evenings or weekends in my town are traditional. I like to play outside with my friends who live nearby and while I play with ball, or hide and seek, or run races, my older sister watches over me. We play very near our home.

My family consists of four members who are my father, mother, my sister and me. My father has a Barbar shop where he is working all day to provide for our family. He takes a few hours during lunchtime to come and relax and keeps his shop open till very late at night, so that he can work and serve to his clients. My mother has graduated after studying at the university, and she has a master’s degree in teaching. She is unemployed during this time. My mother has applied and we hope that she will be received to work as teacher. My mother is at present staying in the house, doing cleaning, shopping and carrying for both, me and my sister. My sister goes to school, and she is also registered in the program of Adopt a Child. My sister has a few friends from her class who come to LW/Adopt a Child church and they suggested her to come to the Bible classes. I am happy that my sister took me with her. I got registered together with my sister in the program and I attend the Bible classes regularly. Soon, we will receive the first food package, and I know that this help means a lot to me and my parents. Thank you for your generosity and care. God bless you in abondance.
