My Story

Hello and greetings. My name is Eni. I am 3 years old and my birthday is on April. I am doing well and my health is good. My favorite color is red and my future dream is to become police officer. I have started recently the kindergarten and during the first week, I had to get used to this change. I spend the first part of the day at kindergarten and now, I have made new friends from my classmates. I like to go there and learn new things. Most of all, after learning, we sing songs, do lots of drawing and coloring and we also play with toys and dolls. When I go in the house, I continue to play inside with dolls and when the weather is nice, I also go out to play with my friends. We play hide and seek, jump with elastics, and do lots of running. After playing, I like to collect my dolls and toys and put them in the drawer, so that the room can be again back to normal.  I live in a village that belongs to the community of Prrenjas. We go to this town often, since it is near and we can go and do shopping there. I enjoy going to the town almost every weekend, when they have the open market day. My house in the village is in good condition. I have four members in my family who are my parents, older sister and myself. My parents own land in the village, but as the years go by, they delt less and less with farming and during this year, they have not planted anything at all. They chose not to deal with farming and planting. Instead, my father works in Greece all year through and he is hired in construction. We see him for a month of two during summer, and he coms also during the end year celebrations. We all miss him, but we are happy that he has his job to provide income for us. Since he has worked full time, our needs are met, but again, we need help at times, and even financially. I am thankful to the program of Adopt a Child for the food packages that I receive every two months, together with my other siter who is also in the program. We go together to the Bible classes of the program and I like to play with my friends there and learn about the Lord. Thank you for your kindness and generosity and God bless you in return.
