Hello! I am Laura Gricelda Ruiz Ruiz and I feel so happy to share with you a little about me. I am fifteen years old and I am a student. I am in the ninth grade at school and I am receiving face-to-face classes once per week. We go to receive the classes in small groups and the teachers assign homework. The internet signal is very bad which affects me when I have to send my homework because I have to send it by whatsapp. In my free time, I help to clean the house. Sadly, my mother died some years ago. My father abandoned us and rarely helps us economically. My siblings and I live with my grandmother. She is a housewife and takes care of us. My brothers Rolando and Alejandro cover the home expenses. My brothers were affected by the pandemic because of lack of work, but thank God, we have received groceries from the school and from the feeding program which have helped us to survive.
We are grateful to God because he has blessed us a lot and has provided our needs even though our parents are not with us. It has been a great blessing for all the family to receive the groceries from Living Water. We thank Living Water for helping us because we can be blessed with the grocery bags. Let me tell you that one of the evangelism teachers called my sister and she was the one who gave this information by phone due to the pandemic. Fortunately, we are healthy and none of us have been infected from the coronavirus. We attend Catholic Church every Monday and we receive two hours of services. I say goodbye to you for now with much love.
