My Story

Hello! I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus and hope you have a beautiful and blessed day. I want to share a little about my family and me in this opportunity. My mother`s name is Maria Morente Alvarado. She is 32 years old. At the moment, she continues doing chores at home and taking care of the family. In addition, she raises hens and pigs to sell and get some income. My father`s name is Benito De La Cruz Luis. He is 35 years old. Nowadays, he continues living and working in the United States.  He works as a farmer, and he sends some money for our family's expenses. We grow corn for our family`s consumption.  Sometimes, the corn is not enough for our family, and we need to buy it. As a humble family, our current needs are corn and groceries. At the moment, we continue attending the Church of Christ every Tuesday and Sunday. We are grateful to the LW evangelism team for their encouraging words to us during the visit. Thank God, my family and I are in good health.

I am Jose Waldemar De La Cruz Morente. I am 12 years old.  This year I am in 4^th grade at school. I receive face-to-face classes every day and I am learning a lot with this study method.  At the moment, my parents are making an effort to support my brothers and me at school in spite of the school fees being so expensive. Sometimes, it is very difficult for them to cover every school expense. My favorite celebration of the year is Christmas because I love gifts. I like to drink sodas and “mosh” (a hot drink made of oatmeal). I do not celebrate my birthday due to a lack of economic resources. Among sports, I like to play soccer. My family is grateful to Living Water because I receive the meals, medical and dental attention, and spiritual support. I want to say thank you for the Christmas gift that you sent to me at the end of the year through LW and also for everything you have done for me.  May God reward you in every area of your life and take care of you!
