I am Jordy Osvaldo, I am 13 years old and I live along with my family. I am attending 7th grade and I receive classes by Zoom and Classroom Apps. Moreover, I receive face-to-face classes once a week. I have to send my homework every day by Classroom App. Fortunately, I have already adapted to the new homeschooling method and I do not have a problem with it. My mother works in a maintenance area and helps my father with the income. My father works for a lithography cutting papers with a paper cutter.
Unfortunately, this covid-19 affected my family economically because both my parents ran out of work for a period of time. Thanks to God, we received support from my school and we moved forward little by little. In spite of the hard times, we could see God´s faithfulness in our family since we all are fine at home and we have had no loss so far. We are deeply thankful to Living Water / Adopt A Child because we have been receiving grocery bags as support. It was a great blessing for us since my parents did not get enough income and it was hard for them to supply our needs. So, we are deeply thankful to our Lord who has been providing for us through your support in the feeding program. We pray to God asking for many and rich blessings to you and LW who have been thinking of all children. I want to let you know that a member of the AAC team called my mother Olinda Cardona by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I tell you that my grandma got sick with covid-19 last year, fortunately, she was taking medicines and recovered from it. My aunts were taking care of her and currently, she is fine and the rest of my family is healthy. At the moment, we are not attending any church. I leave you for now. Take care. Many blessings!
Hugs with much love,
Jordy Osvaldo Lopez Cardona
