My Story

This is Carla Virginia, and I am excited to share with you my last news. I hope this letter finds you having a good day. My family and I do not attend any church yet because of a lack of time. However, we are grateful to the LW staff because they share the gospel and encourage us to look for a church soon; in fact, they invited us to attend Liberty Church. Taking advantage of this moment, I can tell you that being part of the feeding program has been a great blessing for us. My siblings and I receive delicious food and medicines. My mother, Claudia De Leon, is 34 years old. She keeps busy at home while my father farms the land. His name is Carlos Guzman and he is 35 years old. He strives a lot for our family, although it has been a little hard for him to cover our necessities and the school expenses of my younger brother and mine. Our priorities are food supplies, shoes, and prayers because we know they are crucial. Thankfully, our health condition is good. I am twelve and this year, I attend school as a fourth grader again. Thanks to the face-to-face classes, I am clearing up my doubts to understand my lessons so much better. I look forward to becoming a teacher and speaking English when I am older. My favorite season is summer because the weather is perfect to visit St. Jose port. My next birthday will be in November and I am waiting for it excitedly. My family prepares a special lunch and buys a delicious cake to celebrate my birthday. I like drinking banana shakes; I wonder what do you like?
