My name is Angy Marbella, I am 11 years old and I am living along with my family. I attend 4th grade and I am receiving study guides to continue with my studies. My mother helps me by sending my homework to my teacher every Friday by WhatsApp. I do not like to study from home because I do not understand my lessons and I need to have internet to look for more information to do my homework. Unfortunately, my mother does not earn very much to get internet on the cellphone. My mother is the only one who strives to supply our needs; she earns a living by selling masks and stockings in the market.
Let me tell you the covid-19 made things harder economically for my mother because her sales are low, and it means less income for us. My mother is doing her best to supply our needs and thanks to God´s faithfulness, we have never lacked food on our table. We are deeply thankful to Living Water /Adopt A Child because they were supporting us with grocery bags which were really helpful for us. My mother and I want to give thanks to you and the LW staff who were working hard to bless children in spite of the pandemic. We pray our Lord blesses you all richly for the help toward us in the hard times. Thank God, my family and I are healthy and nobody has been infected with covid-19 so far. We attend God´s Town Church on Sunday. I want to let you know that a member of the AAC team called my mother, Carol Vasquez by phone to get this updated information since the feeding program is still closed due to the pandemic. I say goodbye to you for now. May God bless you always!
Kisses and much love,
Angy Marbella Martinez Vasquez
