My Story

Dear Sponsor,

I send you a cordial greeting. I hope you are in good health together with your loved ones. May God continue blessing you! I feel so happy to write you this letter. I want to share with you a little about my family and me. My father´s name is Baleriano and sometimes, he works as a farmer. I ask for your prayers because he is having strong stomach aches and he cannot work due to this situation. He has not attended the doctor because he does not have enough money. He has had this problem for a few years ago. Some days he feels very bad and some days he feels less pain. My mother´s name is Juana and she takes care of us. She raises some hens and when necessary she sells them. I have seven siblings but six of them are married and live apart. Only my brother Armando and I live with my parents.

Thank God, we all are in good health. I am in the third grade again. I did not pass it last year because mathematics was very difficult for me. I am doing my best effort this year. I felt so sad when I lost my grade last year and my parents scolded me. At the moment, I do not have clear idea of what I want to be in the future, but I would like to find a good job and support my family. My favorite sport is soccer. I like to listen to music. We like Christmas time because we have a family gathering and we prepare ¨tamales and ponche¨ (typical dish and hot fruit drink). We attend Catholic Church and I like the praises because I learn more about God for my life. I ask for your prayers for my family especially for my father so that God does a miracle and heals him completely. I thank God for all you have done for me. We cannot pay you but God will pay you back. I hope to meet you someday and know more about you. Take care of yourself. May God bless you!

Many blessings,

Your sponsored Child,

Juana Maribel Garcia Garcia
