My Story

It is a wonderful day to send my greetings and I hope you and your lovely family are doing great! Praise the Lord my family and I attend Church of God the Prophecy; we go on Saturdays. This time I have very sad news to share with you. Unfortunately, my mother passed away in April of this year. She had a natural death. As I had told you in the past, she had a stroke and her health deteriorated. Please, pray for us so that we can go ahead little by little. The LW staff encouraged us to continue trusting in God. Besides that, my father, sister and I are in good health. My mother´s name was Angela Victoria Alvarez Jimenez. My father is Eliud Abraham Garcia Tzul, and he is 38 years old. He works as a collecting agent, and he is supplying the family´s needs. We have two dogs as pets.

I am Dania Nohemi, and I am a 12-year-old girl. I am a sixth-grade student; I like to attend school, and it has helped my learning a lot. My father is the only one who supplies for school and home expenses, which is very difficult for him. He also paid for my mother's medication and a lady to care for my sister and me. We hope that things get better for my father. I wish to study to become a chef, and then I can help my father. Let me tell you, the language that catches my attention is English, so I want to learn it. Basketball is the sport I like the most. I like sodas, especially Coca-Cola which is my favorite one. A date I wait for anxiously is Children's Day, I have a celebration at school, and we eat a delicious meal. I get so happy when my birthday comes, and my family usually prepares a lunch for me; I love it. I take this opportunity to give endless thanks for all the support I receive from you through Living Water; the meals and medical care are a great blessing for me, and it is an economic savings for my family. At home, the main need is groceries. This is all for now. May God bless you wherever you go!

Best wishes,

Dania Nohemi Garcia Alvarez
