In this opportunity I want to tell you about my family. My name is Juana Morente Benito, and I am 12 years old. Although everything around us has changed, I am trying to adapt to this new life. I am in second grade. Most of the time, I study at home on Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. I stay at home doing my homework the rest of the week. I leave my homework when I go to school. I feel so happy because I am doing well at school in spite of everything that has changed. My father is a farmer, and in spite of the hard situation that we are living, he keeps his job. My mother does not work, so she prefers to stay at home taking care of us and doing her chores. We saw God´s faithfulness through this strong disease because he keeps us in good health and safe from the virus. My family and I pray for every family around the world for everyone to stay well. Our good father has provided everything that we need and blessed our life through Living Water with a grocery bag. We have a good experience during this time. There were some days we were very sad because we almost had no food, and then the LW team called us to go and pick up the groceries. We were able to share the fidelity of God with others. We know that God protects us but we also should be very careful wherever we go.
My family and I attend a Church of Christ. Our services are Tuesday and Sunday. Let me tell you that my mother provided this information by phone because of the restrictions due to the current disease. I want to thank you for blessing us in every way! God bless you.
With much love,
Juana Morente Benito
