My Story

I greet you in the name of Jesus hoping you and yours are doing great! This is Maria Jose Guarcas. I am an 11-year-old girl. I attend 3^rd grade at school, and I receive my classes in the morning. I usually help my mother with the housework. My mother is a housewife and takes care of my siblings and me. Additionally, she raises hens to sell to get some income. We cultivate corn for our livelihood. My stepfather is still living in the United States; he works in a car wash. Thankfully, he communicates with us and sends money to supply our needs. My biological father is not in my life because he abandoned us.

We are members of the Assembly of God Church; my mother has welcomed Jesus into her heart some time ago. I want you to pray for the well-being of my family. The Christmas celebration is very special in the feeding program; I receive a gift at the end of the activity, and it makes me so happy. Being part of the Living Water program has blessed my life; the meals are so helpful to me and my family. Fried chicken is the food I love the most from the program.
