My Story

I am happy to have this opportunity to tell you about my life. My name is Maximiliano Morente Quino, and I am 16 years old. I am in ninth grade this year, and I am attending school on Monday, Wednesday and Friday; I deliver my homework the days I receive classes. It has been hard for my father to support me with my school expenses since he does not earn much money. My father works as a day laborer and he goes to work at the coast during the sugar cane harvest. My stepmother works hard at home and takes care of the family. Due to the pandemic, the job opportunities were low in my town, but we could survive thanks to my father who did any kind of work to bring home money.

God has been taking care of us and has kept us safe from the virus. We received grocery bags from Living Water and they were a great blessing for us; we enjoyed everything. I am very grateful to the Ministry for all the effort done to bless many families like mine. Thank God, we are in good health. We attend Prince of Peace Church on Monday. Lastly, I want to tell you that my brother helped me to give this information by phone to a LW Evangelism teacher. The staff did not meet us personally because they are avoiding physical contact as much as possible since they want to protect us from the current virus. I thank you for taking the time to read my letter.

With much love

Maximiliano Morente Quino
