My Story

Hello, it is a pleasure to greet you today. My name is Daisy Jasmin Rodriguez de la Cruz, and I am 9 years old. I go to school in the mornings as a 2^nd grader. In my free time, I love to play with my dolls. I also enjoy going to the Living Water feeding program each week. I love the food there. My favorite meal is the fried chicken, but every meal is a huge blessing for me and my family. Thank God, my family is doing well. My father’s name is Vicente Rodriguez Riz. He is a construction worker. He works hard to provide for my family and support us economically. My mother’s name is Teresa de la Cruz de la Cruz. She is a housewife. She works hard taking care of our home, and she also raises chickens so she can sell them. We also grow corn and beans at home that we cultivate for our own use. Unfortunately, we do not go to church. At Christmas time, we have a celebration at the program. My favorite part about this celebration is the special lunch they serve us and when we receive our gift. It is a very special time. I thank you for taking the time to read about me today.
