My Story

This is your sponsored child, Walter Eliel, and I feel privileged to greet you through this letter. I hope everything is running well in your life. Let me tell you that my family and I do not attend any church at the moment. I am grateful to LW because a teacher from the evangelism team shared the gospel with me. It was a blessing and encouragement not just for me but for my whole family too. As you know, my father separated from my mother many years ago. His name is Walter Siquinajay and he is about 38 years old. We have not heard anything from him nor received his financial support. My mother, Lesbia Siquinajay, is 33 years old. She works hard in a tortilleria business in Dueñas to support our needs. She established a sentimental relationship with Mr. Luis Chonay. He has lived with us for about ten months. He helps us financially. Fortunately, my whole family and I are healthy. Our priorities are groceries.

Taking advantage of this moment, I want to thank you so much for loving and supporting me through LW. It has been a meaningful project for my family and me. The staff serves many needy families with love and kindness. We do not have many domestic animals at home. We only have two lovely cats. My biggest dream is to become a doctor and speak English. Therefore, I am doing my best as a fifth grader. I am glad to receive face-to-face classes because I learn so much better. Unfortunately, everything is expensive. The teachers have asked for many school supplies lately and my mother has had trouble buying them because her income is limited. Therefore, I would love to count on your prayers for me to continue studying. The summer season is the best; my family and I usually go for walks. I love drinking Pepsi and my favorite sport is soccer. I am fourteen years old, and my birthday was in January. What I love the most is eating a birthday cake and a tasty lunch to celebrate a new year of life with my family. This is all for now about my life, but I hope to hear your last news soon.
