I am Maximiliano, and I greet you in Jesus’ name hoping you are doing well. I am taking this opportunity to tell you how my family and I are doing this 2023. My mother’s name is Marcela, and she is in good health. She works hard at home and takes care of the family. My stepfather’s name is Mario, and he is in good health too. He works as a day laborer and goes to work on the coast when it is the sugar cane harvest. As family, we are members of Assembly of God Church, and we attend services on Tuesday and Friday. We have pigs and hens at home, and we grow corn, herbs and “guisquiles”. We are a humble family, and our needs are groceries.
My full name is Maximiliano Luis Enrique Rodriguez Morente, and I am 8 years old. I am repeating 1st grade, and I prefer to attend school in person because I am young, and I need my teacher’s help. My stepfather is the only one who covers the home expenses, so it has been difficult for him to support me with my school supplies. I want to learn to ride a bicycle. I speak Quiche dialect, so I have to improve my Spanish. I would like to have a cake and some presents for my birthday. I like playing with toy cars, and my favorite drinks are typical hot drinks. I love Christmas time because Living Water does special activities for us. I am in good health. Living Water has blessed me in a big way; you are an important part of my life. I hope to hear from you soon.
All the best
Maximiliano Luis Enrique Rodriguez Morente
