Hello! It is a pleasure for me to greet you through this letter. I hope your family and you are in good health. My name is Gregoria Simaj Portuguez and I am 17 years old. Currently, I am enrolled in eighth grade. I attend classes for three hours on Mondays and Tuesdays. The rest of the week, I do homework and look for information by internet. This school method has been difficult to me because it is expensive to buy internet plans and sometimes, I have doubts about my lessons. My father works farming the land in our town to cover my family expenses. On the other hand, my mother looks after her domestic animals. I want to tell you that my siblings Juan Pablo and Felisa work in the city helping my parents financially. My sister Ana helps my mother doing the chores, while my siblings Ana and Angel are doing their best effort to study and learn too. The current world situation affected us economically since my father was unemployed, but thankfully we could survive with God’s help.
We have seen our Lord’s fidelity in our lives because we have never lacked food. In fact, He allowed us to receive Living Water's help since the grocery bags that they gave us were a great blessing for my whole family. So, I am so grateful to you for all your support by means of the ministry; we cannot pay you, but our Heavenly Father is going to reward you and multiply your goods. In spite of the virus, all of us are in good health. My family and I are members of the Catholic Church; we usually go on Mondays and Thursdays. Finally, let me tell you that my mother Rosa Portuguez assisted a member of the Evangelism team to update this information about me by phone since the staff want to protect us from the current pandemic. I hope that you enjoy reading my letter as much as I enjoyed writing it for you.
With much love,
Gregoria Simaj Portuguez
